Arts Jubilee Outdoor Summer Concert Series

Arts Jubilee presents their outdoor summer concert series at Cranmore Mountain Resort.  Each Thursday starting July 17th we have been honored to host some amazing performances.  Many local bands kick off the evening with a warm up concert at 6pm followed by the main show at 7pm.

This Thursday, August 7th, Arts Jubilee presents A Salute to Hollywood & the Movies with the New England Society Orchestra, traditionally followed by Fireworks to end the evening.  To kick off tonight, locals Dennis and Davey will take to the stage at 6pm. Tonight's concert is scheduled rain or shine, so be sure to bring your lawn chairs.  Pack up your car and head over to Cranmore with friends and family to enjoy an evening with the orchestra!

End the series of concerts on Thursday, August 14th with a night of blues!  Early show Mo' Blues will be starting the evening at 6pm followed by Roomful of Blues.

Cranmore also offers steals and deals the day of concerts as well as the following Friday!  Enjoy our Last Blast Ticket on concert nights and pay only $10 for the last two hours of operation, or wear your bracelet on Friday to the Ticket Office to receive additional savings.

We hope to see you dancing along in the lawn!

Pink Friday Was A Great Success!

Last Friday, Cranmore celebrated Pink Friday with $15 Mountain Adventure Park tickets when you showed up to the mountain wearing pink to benefit the VT-New Hampshire Susan G. Komen Fund, and raise awareness for breast cancer.  100% of the profits raised were donated to the Susan G. Komen Fund.  The VT-New Hampshire Affiliate along with Memorial Hospital were on site with information, raffles, prizes and lots of knowledge!  It was amazing to see a sea of pink everywhere you looked and to be able to donate over $3,000 to the fund.  A BIG heartfelt thank you goes out to all who supported and helped make Pink Friday possible!

Scenic Chairlift Rides

I don't think I could ever get tired of the views from the top of Cranmore.  Looking down into North Conway or over at Mt. Washington is spectacular no matter what the season.  Everything looks so lush with the blue sky surrounding the mountains, talk about a photo opportunity! An added bonus to summer 2014 is the food service in the Meister Hut, lunch is served (with a view).

The joys of riding the Skimobile Express Quad in the summer is the ride up and the ride back down, double whammy with the scenic views.  So plan for a little extra time spent at Cranmore this summer, with lunch at the Meister Hut, a short hike over to Black Cap and amazing 360 views, you'll definitely want to add a scenic chairlift ride to your agenda.

Cranmore's Mountain Adventure & Aerial Adventure Parks are now open daily 10am-6pm. Visit for more information and ways to save!

Cranmore Cares: Habitat for Humanity Build on April 12th

Cranmore's Charity and Goodwill Committee gathers it's members and Cranmore employees on Saturday, April 12th to help with the Habitat for Humanity's build in Conway, NH.
It all started with a chance meeting at one of the Chamber’s After Hours events in the February time frame when Bob Holdsworth, Habitat’s PR chairman struck up a conversation with one of Cranmore’s sales staff.  Bob asked if Cranmore worked with non-profits and was told yes and that Beth Hutchins, Cranmore’s Human Resources director was in charge of the Cranmore Cares program.

In ensuing conversations Beth asked what sort of activities they would be doing on the build, adding that they had a pretty versatile group.  Bob replied that Habitat provides on site construction management to coordinate the work effort. All of the construction management and supervisors are from the industry with extensive experience.  Special skills are not required; anyone with an extra pair of hands can be put to work whatever the task may be.

Together Bob and Beth agreed on Saturday, April 12th.  Approximately seven volunteers from Cranmore  will show up at 42 North Rd. in Conway and be ready to get their instructions at 8:30am.  Their volunteerism is part of  the community involvement in helping build simple, decent homes with and for our neighbors in need.

Old Man Winter is Back

That's right, Old Man Winter has returned and blessed us with fabulous cold weather! While we enjoyed the January thaw, and the spring-like skiing and riding that came along with it, we are happy to be back to our cold winter weather.  The chilling temperatures mean snow making round the clock, which in the end means more open trails.  Team Snowmageddon was able to fire up the snow guns last night, and leave some running during today.  Trails were groomed to perfection and the snow conditions are amazing! We have two non-glade trails left until we are 100% open.  Now we are just praying to Mother Nature to send some fresh powder our way so Patrol can drop more rope.

Don't forget to hashtag #MyCranmore so we can see all the memories you create here at the mountain.  We get out as much as we can, but we love to see the fun you're having on and off the slopes.  Find and like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date in the social world of Cranmore!

We'll see you out on the slopes!

The Great Penguin Race

The annual Great Penguin Race was back at Cranmore supporting a new local charity, the Pediatric Neurotransmitter Disease Association. The association had been hard at work selling the penguins every chance they had, near and far.  Participants were able to purchase penguins the day of the event as well.  This year the PND Association included a silent auction, and Ski with PND as well.  The Silent Auction was held on the third floor featuring autographed athlete photographs, gift cards and more. Skiers and riders were able to purchase lift tickets through the organization as well, and all funds were donated to PND.

The Drew family generously donated their time and efforts to make today possible in association with Cranmore.  They sold 216 penguins to race down the mountain, and raised almost $2,000 through lift tickets.  The Silent Auction is still happening as I write this, and will continue until 3:00pm today.  It was amazing to see a local family pool together with the community to raise money for such an amazing cause. Stay tuned for next year's event as it can only continue to grow!
