Think Snow

With the foliage in full bloom, snowmaking is not far behind.  Phase One and Two are being hosed up now, and weather permitting, we will be ready to start making snow on November 1st.  We have invested $100,000 to our snowmaking equipment this season which includes 35 additional energy efficient tower guns, and new snowmaking trails on Tommy's Trail.. With the new guns, this bring our tower gun fleet to over 400, more than tripling what the mountain had four years ago.

We will start on Phase One which includes Easy Street, Gibson, Lower Gibson, Lower Beginner's Luck, Snow Train, the South Slope, the base area and the tubing park.  Our projected opening day, November 29th, is not too far away!  We hope to have top to bottom skiing and riding ready for our guests the day after Thanksgiving.

Although we just finished up with summer, we have been busy in the snowmaking world.  Our snowmaking team has replaced aging pipelines and we added snowmaking from the bottom of the East Slope to the bottom of the Scneider Triple on Upper Tommy's Trail.  This will assure us quality skiing and riding from the bottom of the East to the Schneider Triple this year.
