Friday Snowfall at Cranmore

We received 4" of snowfall today at Cranmore Mountain. Here are some shots taken this morning. The snow in the trees is pretty! Mixed precipitation came after the snow but we expect a "net gain" in terms of snow coverage even after the switchover.

With the opening of North Conway trail today, we have 100% of our trails with snowmaking and grooming open. Big call out to our snowmakers and groomers for their heroic efforts this season! Conditions are really great so please come on up and enjoy the white stuff.

First Tracks with the GM

Yesterday we invited passholders to load the lifts 30 minutes early to make first tracks with our GM Ben Wilcox. A little more than 20 skiers and riders showed up to hit the slopes with Ben, and aside from the bitter chill of Winter, conditions could not have been better! Ben had a great time socializing and skiing alongside our loyal Cranmore skiers and riders, and would like to invite all passholders back again for First Tracks on February 12 at 8am, followed by coffee and cinnamon buns in the Meister Hut!

January 20th Powder Day at Cranmore!

It's a great day at Cranmore with over half a foot of fresh powder overnight. Truly these are the best conditions of the season. Enjoy these photos taken today when we scored first tracks along with a bunch of other happy skiers and riders this morning!

Hits for Helmets

Yesterday we had out Hits for Helmets freestyle event, the first ever slope style competition in the Otherside Park! We had an awesome time, and raised money to help supply helmets for kids who can't afford to buy one. As we learned last year from the unfortunate accident of local rider, and friend of Cranmore, Danny Toumarkine, who suffered from a TBI while filming backcountry snowboarding, wearing a helmet is pretty important.

You can find photos from this event at our website here.
Here is a sneak peek of what you will find.
