8 Inches of Snow!

It's an early Christmas gift from mother nature here at Cranmore! We have received 8 inches of the powdery stuff already in today's storm and we could get up to a foot before it all winds down tonight. It is still snowing gang-busters out there as I write you this note. I just ran out and took the photos below - the snow is up near the top of my boots! I only wish Cranmore were open today so I could get some shots further up on the mountain.

But never fear - we open for the season starting this weekend skiing and snow-tubing. Jimmy tells me snowmaking has been going like crazy on Easy Street, Beginner's Luck, South, Artist Falls, Gibson and many other favorite trails. We will be open from top to bottom with the Quad running.

Join us Saturday and Sunday for opening weekend including Welcome to Winter, where the first 50 ticket buyers receive a really good free Goodie Bag. We will close Monday - Thursday next week to really amp up the snowmaking and then reopen on Fri. Dec. 18th for our famous Ticket Roll Back Day, only $3.30 for lift tickets.

See you Saturday on the slopes!
